$500.00 Scholarship Offered by the St. George’s Indian Band

The lucky winner will be announced and a cheque will be awarded to a Level 3 Student on Awards Day, June, 2019.

The specific criteria for this scholarship is as follows:

  • Applicant must be a member in good standing of the St. George’s Indian Band.
  • Must show an acceptance letter or conditional acceptance to a post-secondary education program for the upcoming fall, 2019 semester.
  • Applicant must write a 500-word essay – or construct a project (Essay, Poster, Story Board) on the following topic: “What Being Mi’kmaq Means to Me”.
  • Deadline for submission of application is May 24, 2019.
